The ACSR conductor comprises a central steel core and multiple aluminum wire layers. The steel core handles mechanical tension, while aluminum carries current. This design optimizes performance over long spans.

To guard against corrosion, the steel core is typically galvanized or aluminum-clad. Additionally, we provide both grease-filled (oiled) ACSR conductors and non-grease (dry) ACSR conductors:

• Grease-filled ACSR: contains corrosion-inhibiting compound in the core or strands, preventing moisture ingress and enhancing lifespan—ideal for coastal, humid, or polluted environments.
• Non-grease ACSR: dry type, appropriate for inland installations with low corrosion risk, easier to handle and install cleanly.
